WAYS TO HELP

SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS

• Attendance and reporting at each board meeting

• Request and participate in meetings with board members and administration

CANDIDATES

• Advocate for nonpartisan candidates to the school board

• Endorse candidates who agree to put children first and do not take teacher union or partisan contributions

• Encourage volunteering and contributions for endorsed candidates, including door knocking, talking to voters on election day

• FCPA funds cannot be given directly to candidates, but we can encourage people to donate directly to candidates’ campaigns or steer them towards like minded political action committees.  If the group is successful, consider forming our own PAC.

Recruiting at back to school nights, especially in elementary schools and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
